The Photos app will soon make its debut on iCloud.com. Its existence was spotted last month, Apple has released a support sheet about it, or the public had no access. In addition, a specific URL displayed an error, instead of returning the user to the main page.
iCloud.com Photos Soon
Apple seems to have completed its application, at least that's what one might think by going to the same URL today. A new page is displayed on that reads "The new Photos app is perfect to safely store your entire photo library (videos included) in the cloud and to update them on all your iOS devices and your Mac " . We can then read the message "FirstRun.FromOldOS.Advice" . The English version, Apple registered instead "To use iCloud Photos on the web, upgrade your iOS devices to iOS 8.1" . Apple's request to migrate to iOS 8.1 to take advantage from iCloud.com.
iOS 8.1 will be available on October 20, Apple announced the date last night during his keynote tour around the iPad and Mac. Logic suggests that the Photos application makes its debut next week on iCloud.com, alongside the updated iOS.
Warning, do not confuse the Photos application on iCloud.com and the Photos application on OS X scheduled for early 2015 This will replace iPhoto users on Mac familiar for years now.
